Are daddy longlegs spiders?

This is a project to summarize CGPGreys videos.
First, what are spiders? Spiders have 8 legs, produce venom, have 8 eyes, they have fangs, and they have spinnerets. But daddy longlegs means different things all around the world. In Australia the Cellar Spider is also called a daddy longlegs. It has 8 legs, it produces venom, has 8 eyes, has fangs, and it has spinnerets, and that makes them spiders. In North America, a harvestman is also called daddy longlegs. But it has 2 eyes, can’t make webs, it doesn’t have fangs, and it doesn’t have venom, but it has 8 legs which means it isn’t a spider. The Harvestman is an Opiliones though. Also, in the U.K there is the Cranefly, also called daddy longlegs, but it is an insect. But there is also a plant called daddy longlegs! So are daddy longlegs spiders? So there is one plant, one insect, one harvestman, but only one real spider.
